Your first call will be a short, compassionate mental health screening to assess if the services offered at White Stone Counseling would be a good fit for you, your child, or family.
Insurances accepted are Anthem Blue Cross, Aetna, TriCare, United Behavioral Health, Harvard Pilgrim, Optum and Medicaid. I am also a provider for DCYF referred cases. You will need your insurance card to make an appointment so that I may verify your insurance.
The first appointment is called an Intake Appointment. During this one hour appointment we work together to assess your treatment needs and to begin a treatment plan. Children and minors do not come to the intake appointment and appropriate childcare arrangements need to be arranged. Children may not be left unattended at any time.
Before work, after school, and evening counseling appointments are available. There may be a waiting list for preferred appointment times.
Appointment times are generally given at the same time each week to help you or your child meet other commitments.
